Individual Therapy for Adults
The Benefits of Therapy
Space to Focus on You
Individual therapy offers a supportive space to focus on what’s going on in your life. People come to therapy for many reasons—managing stress, navigating big changes, working through difficult emotions, changing patterns, or improving relationships.
Our therapists provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can talk openly and feel heard. Therapy is a collaborative process, focused on building helpful coping strategies, easing distress, and creating meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

What To Expect
Your Therapy Journey
Starting therapy is an important step, and knowing what to expect can make the process feel more comfortable. From your first appointment to ongoing care, we guide you every step of the way with a supportive, personalized approach.
Getting Started
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and it’s completely normal to have questions. Before or during your first visit, you’ll complete some brief paperwork to help us get to know you.
Your First Session
Your therapist will take time to understand your history, what brings you to therapy, how long concerns have been present, and what you’ve already tried to cope.
Creating a Plan
Together, you and your therapist will develop a personalized treatment plan and set goals tailored to your needs.
Ongoing Therapy
The length of therapy varies—some individuals benefit from short-term treatment (typically 6–12 sessions), while others continue longer.
Throughout therapy, your therapist will regularly check in and adjust treatment to ensure it remains supportive and effective.
ABOUT US
Finding the Right Therapist
We take care to match you with a therapist during an initial phone screening, because a strong fit supports meaningful progress. It’s also normal for that connection to take a few sessions to fully develop.
If at any point the fit doesn’t feel right, we encourage you to let us know. We’re always happy to help you find a therapist who better supports your needs.
You can expect your therapist to be respectful, attentive, and supportive. Someone who listens closely, offers thoughtful guidance, and creates a trusting, collaborative space. Each therapist’s areas of specialty are outlined in their bio on our team page.
