School Admissions Testing
The Benefits of Therapy
About School Admissions Testing
We assess a child’s cognitive abilities, academic skills, and readiness for placement in private or independent schools. These evaluations provide schools with objective information to support admissions decisions and help ensure a strong academic and developmental fit.
We administer commonly required IQ assessments, including the WPPSI-IV and WISC-V, as well as any additional tests requested by schools in the Philadelphia and New Jersey areas. Testing is conducted in a supportive, child-friendly environment designed to help children feel comfortable and do their best.
Why Seek Therapy
The Purpose of Admissions Testing
Many private and independent schools require admissions testing as part of the application process. These evaluations help schools better understand a child’s learning profile, including strengths and areas for growth.
Admissions testing supports placement decisions that consider not only academic readiness, but also a child’s social and emotional development. Results can also be shared directly with school admissions teams, helping streamline the application process and provide additional clarity for families and schools alike.
